This portrait series explores the story of Andrea Frongia (Ambrotos Photography), a photographer based in Fuerteventura.
The project focuses on revealing the person usually hidden behind the lens, capturing her both as an artist and as a subject.
Inspired by the spirit of the 1970s, Andrea’s lifestyle and aesthetic blend naturally with the landscapes of Fuerteventura. Wild flowers growing across the volcanic desert, her van, and the island’s slow rhythm form part of her daily environment.
These elements become part of the visual story, portraying not only a photographer, but a way of life rooted in freedom, nature and creativity.
